Who doesn't love NYC?  Who wouldn't?  This city is world-class, and an experience like no other.  Walking around NYC alone is utterly enjoyable.  Taking a leisurely stroll through Central Park on a summer day is heavenly.  The buildings are huge, the people are crazy, and the whole place is just bustling and alive, no matter what time of day or night.  There's so many different cultures present, you could get a tour of the world practically in one city. If you can make it there you can make it anywhere...well, that's what they say...sadly I don't agree. I enjoy NYC. I can visit NYC. But don't make me live there again! Maybe I am just not a fan of congestion, heat or cold. Maybe the clang of the city, the vapid people on the streets and the conceited notion that as a city they are better than or set a standard for the rest of the world.    Maybe I am over NYC because I grew up in NYC. Pros: Lots to do; Many places to eat     Cons: Expensive, Certain areas are unsafe     I was born and raised on Long Island, about thirty miles outside of Manhattan. I really enjoy going into the city! Sometimes I go in with family, other times with friends, and I even go by myself.      My favorite place, of course, is Broadway.
