In the cartoon, I have to go with Galvatron. His insanity and mood swings are classic. You must see the episode Webworld to know where I'm getting at here. In comics, Shockwave, hands down. He overthrew Megatron from leadership not because of treachery, or some mad lust of power. He did it because he felt it was logical to do so.

He's far more different in the comic than he is in the cartoon. In the comic he's very powerful.

Starscream is, was, and always will be my favorite Transformer. If I had to choose an Autobot, it would be a toss-up between Optimus Prime and Mirage.
