A terrible show.... Terrible, terrible. The character designs are horrendous, and the robots themselves are a total bore. And I hate the character Scooter so much. Read full review here.

oh, I admit I had a small Gobots toy as I kid which I used my Bumblebee toy to fight with LOL!

You know? I never had a Gobot. I was too into the Marvel and DC figures until I got my hands on The Transformers and GI Joe.

they were rather expensive in Asia, but I really liked those GI Joe figures. You would not believe the knock offs they had over there....some of them were better than the originals...

Wiki

Challenge of the GoBots (also known as Mighty Machine Men) is an American animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera, based on the Gobots toy-line released from Tonka.[1] [2] Most of the toys were imported from the Japanese Machine Robo toy line. The show originally debuted in animated form as a five-part miniseries, which aired in syndication from October 29 - November 2, 1984. A regular series followed the next year, premiering on September 16, 1985. The series was later rerun on the USA Cartoon Express.
