This is one cartoon from the 80's I don't need to revisit. I'll never forget my disgust for those saccharine looking bears. Stuff like this made Transformers and GI Joe look a lot better than it already was.

I'm not fond of cutesy cartoons at the best of times, and during the '80s with the onslaught of shit like this and "My Little Pony" and "Strawberry Shortcake" and all the others, it was the worst of times. YUCK!

Well said, dude. I watched a few episodes of the Care Bears when I was 3 or 4, and even at such a young age, I thought it was sugary crap.

More Care Bears reviews
Uuuuugggghhhhhhh. I don't know how this sugary crap has lasted over 30 years. Hell, the few times I saw the Care Bears back when I was three or four years-old, I thought it was saccarine shit. As a 24 year-old fan of death metal, R-rated 80's action movies, and gruesome videogames, if I tried to watch this crap now, I'd probably go into diabetic shock over how treacly this shit is. Being a boy, I remember seeing Care Bears stuff at school or at friends' houses if they had a sister. I liked them just fine, but was too busy blowing things up with GI JOE and Transformers to really pay much attention to them.
