Hello, Everyone! Welcome to ASIANatomy; a Lunch.com community dedicated to the beauty of Asian Cinema…films from Japan, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Korea, Thailand and other countries from Asia can have a home!
We are also accepting Japanese anime or any form of animation from Asia.
We've all been exposed to martial arts movies by Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li at one time or another. Honestly, most movie fans associate Asian cinema with martial arts samurai films and action movies. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this, but we all know that Asian cinema has a whole lot more to offer. Acclaimed American directors such as Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese are big Asian cinema fans.
Now, at the behest of some of our members, we will now be a webpage for PURE Asian entertainment that includes Asian TV Series and Manga. This is Not to compete with a community on manga (such as Reality Inked ) but to be a more tribute webpage to the Asian entertainment medium.
So if you'd like to know more…come down and visit us in this webpage. a place where Asian action, horror, drama, comedies, epics, EVEN ANIME reigns supreme!!
I'm surprised that you mentioned Tarantino and Scorsese and not Lucas. Lucas was a huge Kurosawa fan. He referenced both "The Hidden Fortress" and "Seven Samurai" in each of his "Star Wars" films.

see Lucas is a fan of Kurosawa; but not of Asian cinema. I don't think he references any other Asian movies aside from Japanese films. So I couldn't include him; Tarantino and Scorsese however, bring them here in the States by endorsing their releases.

You might want to change the topic summation for the community. It doesn't all fit anymore and now it just says "movies, asian cinema, ani". Maybe just Asian Pop Culture would cover it all?
