Which anime is more bats**t insane?

FLCL or Excel Saga?

For what it's worth, I think FLCL. If you want to murder your braincells (and listen to a good soundtrack), it's returning to DVD either this Tuesday or early March.

Yeah, I can agree with you on that one. I thought the soundtrack by "The Pillows" is pretty cool too. Glad to know that it is hitting dvd shelves.

Although FLCL has a kick ass soundtrack, but I have to go with Excel Saga. There's more random sickness in that, while FLCL has more of a point, and actually does have a thought provoking concept once you get pass the madness.
