Witchblade is a prime example of an anime that shows why I detest today's group of anime fans so much.

This anime is loaded with bullshit flaws that should be obvious to anyone with half a brain, such as horribly rushed plotting, too much focus on totally unimportant characters, misplaced comedy, lots of useless filler, weak action scenes, and a shit ending.  Despite these obvious flaws, lots of dumbass anime fans actually think this dogshit is among the best titles in the anime genre, probably because they're so dumb as to let sexual eye candy and emotional manipulation take over logic and reason (logical appeal is far, far more important than emotional appeal).

Skip this atrocious sentimental fluff and go for Battle Angel or Rin:  Daughters of Mnemosyne instead.

I liked the beginnings of the Top Cow comic (the development of the artifact and the villain was key) and then it kind went a little slow. It really picked up when Waid took over and he took it to new heights. I still collect that comic up to this day.
