...Karkat, Kanaya, Jade, I can understand. I've never met anyone who doesn't love Karkat, and there's nothing not to love about Kanaya. Jade is pretty cool too, definitely towards the end. But Eridan? Genocidal, traitorous, unlikeable hipster bastard Eridan? I feel for you, man. XD
I actually like Eridan a lot too, but don't tell anybody. :D
Also, how can you not love SBaHJ?! They're amazing!! Those two are, like, the best characters hands down, next to Geromy and the Big Man! :P

Well Karkat is both a Jerk with a heart of Gold and a Woobie, he's pretty much made to be sympathetic. Eridan is just great fanfiction material, just like Equius and Nepeta. Besides, I know you like Eridan, your Disqus account shows by itself. SBaHJ was never funny for me, not even in a bad way so I really don't care about it..
I saw the old MSNM disscussion and made him get the service packs, still have to get that Platform Update for him though. He needs to learn to use google for something else aside from ecchi.
Yeah, he is. Equius & Nepeta, to me, just have this fabulous dynamic, because they're so close, and for a while, it really looked like Equius was going to overcome his fatal flaw and get over the whole hemospectrum thing. Haha, I also just realised that I used Eridan on discuss anyway. God, I hate him, but at the same time, I love him. He's brilliant. XD
And he's not Vriska, which is a plus! I still can't decide how I feel about Vriska, honestly. :D

Ugh, 83 reais for all the main albums, excluding the fake albums and the medium. I don't think I have all that disposable income at the moment with the way I've been toasting money on Kindle recently.
I doubt anyone can teach Zero to be tech-savvy. What a irony the guy who loves giant robots is not good with computers. In other news, people really tend to thing you are a girl on the net. Wildy and JustThisOne were surprised when they discovered it. And fooling on twitter is funner than I thought(funner is actually a word O_o, opera spell checker, you surprise me everyday).

Nah, I'll use bandcamp and youtube until I can buy them. It's really strange to buy music digitally, I'm so used to buy CDs. My Kindle account is a bit... embarrassing, full of guilty pleasures. I only buy on Kindle what I can't get physically, so... mostly gay romance and werewolf stories. I would take a screensho to show, but. Don't judge me!

You act too much androgynously, it becomes a bit difficult to know what's your gender, principally the net is made of assumptions. To be seen as a guy on the net you need to act either be horny, destructive or patronizing. You know what? You should put Bridget on your username.
Twitter is a great way to talk with people and fool around, I mostly talk with Ash and Wildy. And is quicker to type than lunch posts and emails.
Kanaya/Vriska seems plausible, that's the thing, but there's really very little ground for any other Kanaya ships. Like, I ship Kanaya<>Karkat, everyone does because they're practically perfect moirails, but otherwise the only thing that has maaaaaaybe a lick of feasibility is Kanaya/Rose, even though that's stretching it massively. I love Jade/Kanaya, though. :D
That makes sense. Digital music is preferable to CDs for me, but I can kinda get where you're coming from, but you do get great bonuses with most of the Homestuck albums. Or, well, some of them, anyway. :D

Terrible tastes? That's mean. They are not any Shakespeare but most(stress most) of them are good, I have a good eye at picking stories I end up liking. So many books with great narratives like The Hit List, Something Like Summer and A Strong and Sudden Thaw. Well, like I said, anything I can get physically I don't get with Kindle, so there's no need for me to own classier books on Kindle. And I tend to hate 'classier' books, I'm more of a indie book person, reason why I love fanfiction and unpublished original fiction. Frustrated authors are the best!
Well, being seen as a girl will generally give you better treatment on the net, so I see no reason for wanting to alienate people. Anger problems? You sound like my brother, perpetually grouchy and exploding for no reason. The power of anonymity and prose is surely something else!

I'm always sensitive when it comes to installing new software and messing with my windows though. I've been in some situations where I've gotten my windows erased and had to get tech help to force an OS on a comp. It's not fun. ;__;

I kinda had you pegged for something of a hipster, so I'm not surprised, but it makes sense. I'm not one for unpublished original fiction unless it's of a really interesting bent, or really high quality, but I do read a whole lot of fanfic so I can agree that it's definitely worthwhile. :D
But I don't want to be seen as a girl, that's the thing, and I don't want to alienate people. I'm a proud guy, and a chauvinist to boot (kidding!! XD) and frankly, it's kind of unnerving to be treated like a girl because girls get treated like precious porcelain dolls on the internet. Sexualised, worshipped, whatever. I hate women who flaunt the fact that they're women on the internet for attention or gifts or whatever, and I don't want to be seen as that sort of person, especially when I'm a guy. =/

mIrAcLeS is really good! I prefer Blackest Heart with Honks, because it merges both aspects of Blackest Heart and mIrAcLeS together stunningly, but otherwise it's a great song. :D

Anyway, it could be fantastic! Potentially, though, it could be worse than Trinity Soul. I just want an anime that preserves the spirit of our favourite badass brotagonist. :(
Also, I want it to include as much of the game's content as possible - social links, sidequests, the works. It won't happen, but it's what I want. :D
Also, I want the main romantic interest to NOT be Yukiko. Or Rise. Either Yumi, Chie or Naoto for me. I guess Ai could work too. :>
Also, I want it to resemble the game stylistically. Similar Pop-Artsy style, bright colours everywhere, Soejima artwork, all that jazz. Music should be from the game too, just rearranged a bit to fit the theme. :D

I bet the new Persona games would be the most annoying games to adapt into animes. In the game the side stuff is important and optional, but in a anime, the side stuff would just feel like bad padding and would destroy the pacing if not executed perfectly right, and I don't trust anime studios to get even simple shows right, this even less. Another problem is how the game defines very few canons, so things like the commus become annoying to adapt.
I want both new and old remixed music(just a excuse for more Meguro). Imagine Fog and Genesis being adapted into a big ten minutes continuous medley in the last episode!
But yeah, I would also like to get an after series, although I don't know if I want a Wild card Nanako. But I want a persona user Nanako anyway.

Why not? Similarly to how Aigis inherited Minato's wild card (although there was a canonically-established purpose and whatnot for that), Nanako being the closest person to Souji would be sensible, and furthermore, the perfect ending to what is arguably the perfect game. But, rather than state/explain my reasoning, I think I'll just acquiesce. To be fair, PersoNanako is the best idea. The very best. :D

ZD is totes right here though. i mentioned this when i recommended it, but MP in CC is expensive as all hell. you need a GBA for each player and a GBA-to-GC cable, sold separately, as well. i have a GBA-to-GC cable but i can't find it atm so i can't share it :(

Joking aside, I only ever met two other people with GBA, and I never even seen GC to GBA cables before. Everyone around me does seem to have a DS though, which is odd, since those damn things cost around 700 to 800 bucks around these parts. Wait... Wow, the 3DS is unofficially launching around only 1k where I live. I never saw any console price platform releasing for less than 2k before. Ugh, that remembers me I have to find a way to get 600 buck for TiTS. I hate you Brazilian customs, making a 100 bucks game over three times it's own price, and I hate you Playasia murderous shipping fees.
My currency is Real, not US Dollars, but for me, shelling 600 bucks for a game is the same thing as you shelling 600 bucks for a game, so it doesn't really matter. Well, since TiTS is actually only around 30 dollars, it means I'll have to shell 55 reals for the game, somewhere between 55 to 110 reals for shipping, and the same price again for customs. If I go with the pricey shipment(UPS and FEDEX) I'll have the game in four days, but I'll have to pay the murderous customs, if I go with the less pricey one(EMS), I probably won't pay customs, but it'll only reach me in a month or two. If I go for the 10 dollars pricier limited edition, the price goes up by 40 reals in all scenarios. Now, if I import something Japanese or around 60 dollars or more, it'll average on on 600 reals, since the customs fucking add the shipping price together. Put with me already spending 200 bucks on books this month, and trying to get money for a PS3, which is around 1k reals the least... Let's stop talking about depressing things like video-games and go back to the Game Cube talk.

which escapist features are you watching? i've heard great things about doomsday arcade and a couple of others, and zero punctuation used to be hilarious, but most of it is godawful. I'd recommend moviebob though, and maybe extracredits if you're feeling a bit contemplative. :D

language can be such a roadblock. it's the main reason i can't appreciate things from abroad. i wish the world had one unified language (not esperanto thanks) so we could all get along, a la Tower of Babel-style shenanigans. :D still, i'd totally recommend you push him through on TTYD, it's worth it even if you can't appreciate a lot of the text - though without the text you do miss out on the fantastic writing!!! :D
playing pokémon is fairly easy without text, though, if you have something to tell you what the names of your moves are, like...bulbapedia or whatever. a proper RPG can be a nightmare even in your own language, if it's not translated properly (like zelda 2 or many others!! :P)

I kinda staled on the webcomic front thanks to LPs, then TiTS, then a werewolf gay romance novel from one of my favorite authors ever and now I will go back to TiTS. That game is damn huge, 20 hours in and I just started the second chapter from probably five or more. I just got on the trolls episode on the part where the miracle guy first goes outside his house. Then TVTropes spoiled me that one of the trolls dies(and is still alive for some reason). I should go back to it soon, last night I just closed half of my backlog windows in a frustration fit, so now I have more time for it.
I've been watching ZP, sometimes reading the webcomics aside from Stolen Pixels(too big, on backlog), Top 5, that new Monsters thing, Extra Credits, The Big Picture and I sometimes read the issues, Extra Punctuation, the forums and extra consideration. I watched one episode of Escape to the Movies, Show About Games Show, Loading Ready Run and Unskippable, but I have yet to watch further any of them.
I've been reading boy with a coin there. I think I need to read a bit more before I can go on Homestuck fanfiction, wouldn't like to be spoiled by the fandom.
I tend to dislike everything by Jam Project, that music is no exception, but it's such a ear worm.
no worries. webcomics are great because you can just leave them and come back later, in a way that even normal comics don't quite do. it's the simplest thing to pick up where you left off, without losing steam. :D you're pretty far, then! hivebent, then act 5 part 2 and then you'll be in the same position of serial addiction i find myself in. you poor soul. :P NEVER READ TVTROPES BEFORE FINISHING SOMETHING!!! it ruins the experience. spoilers, spoilers everywhere!! :( (i recommend getting back to it when you're done with TiTs, so you've got less to distract you. it's the best way. :D)

Well, just because I might know what are your intentions with your writing doesn't mean that I will see things like you, I'll still have my outsider's view, but if I know what are the intentions either before or after I read it, it becomes easier to see if what you intended was what I read, if that makes any sense for you. If I know what you were trying to accomplish, it becomes easier for me to see if you accomplished it or not, I'm used to deal with bias. Well, just do whatever works best for you XD
I snuck in some third year classes at school(nothing which I didn't know before), and I entered on a Game Cube fever and I'm seeing how much time it takes until I give up on replaying and finally finishing Wind Waker. In other news, Mario Sunshine raped my childhood with it's voice acting, and Four Swords Adventure is really, really strange for a Zelda game.

Oh, yeah, I can see that. But at least the symbolism in MegaTen is fairly easily grasped. I'd recommend watching his films later, if only so you can learn a bit more about a celluloid legend. A Clockwork Orange is particularly horrific. ;P
(Lolita is one of his better films, IIRC, certainly better than The Shining, anyway. I'm shocked you haven't heard of that, actually. :D)

I like the Shining, my main problem with it is... well, it's a horror movie that's not really scary :p In fact I think most of the non-horror Kubrick films I've seen were more horrifying in many ways. I have the same problem with most of Clive Barker's stories, he's a good writer, but he just doesn't scare me :/ I like to be scared when I read a horror story or watch a horror movie.

Then go read Signal to Noise in the TWEWY fandom. I guarantee you will not regret it. ;P

I was just going to do a rerun on the recommendations on some of my long lost fandoms starting from Smash Brothers when the friend I mentioned called me and now I have a non-romantic date at saturday and a one hour and half a hour trip to his city. Damn, my Glee sountrack just started playing Baby by Bieber, it makes me remember why I stick mostly with intrumental and japanese. Going to check Signal to Noise. Maybe also continue Homestuck or 8-bit theather(damn, I never got past the first 100 strips and there's just so much). Or maybe I'll just loose another night with Asem Retort random button and raping bad slash to tears.

I can give you the statistics as I have them. Seventh largest earthquake in recorded history at a magnitude of 8.9 on the Richter scale, in the...Pacific Ocean, I think? Going to hit the western coast of North and South America in roughly 20 hours, or 20 days, I can't remember which, with (12 hours ago) a 90-person death count with 100+ people missing. That's probably increased exponentially by now, though. It's a horrific tragedy. ;_;
Good god, thanks that I'm bathed only by the Atlantic. Wikipedia already has all the details and a list of the affected countries with all the status. Russian and Hawaii are getting the biggest Tsunamis, over 3 meters, USA has already been hit. My mother said I was stupid when I mentioned I was surprized Wikipedia already had a full cohesive page about the event less than 12 hours after it.
I hesitate to voice my opinion, but I agree with your mother. I'm not saying you're stupid, but not expecting the single largest communal pool of knowledge to have a comprehensive overview of a devastating worldwide disaster as soon as the details become known is kinda silly, especially when the pages on substantially less significant things receive as much attention as they do. DS and PSP games are nice like that, if a bit heavier on space. It probably would have been easier for everybody if they hadn't scrimped on GBA packaging and done the same thing a generation earlier. I mean, even GB and GBC games had those little plastic case-thingies.

According to the internetz all GBAs and DSes are region free, knowing that makes N's decision to implement region locking on the 3DS a little bit more depressing D: yeah I dunno how much it would cost to ship a GBA from Britishland to Murka but it would be cool if you don't mind helping me out. EDIT: @SolidusSnake I've done a little research! The cost of shipping (without tracking, so no recorded deliveries or anything) is £3.20, which is about $5.20. The cost of shipping with tracking (which'll get a signature so it can be confirmed) is about £8.20, which is $13. Without tracking is 5 days delivery, with tracking is 4 days. I could do it through UPS or someone, but that's more complex...either way, there's not much to it. Throw an email my way or something, so we can discuss this in-depth. :D

It's a challenge for Verticles. Start with KanjixNaoki bait, make Kanji defensive around it and make him go after either Yukiko or Naoto. Make it seem like it will work well until something happens(preferably if it's plot or Rise related) and they break up and end with KanjixNaoki. Also, make Rise call Kanji as 'slave' for a whole segment. It's on! Now let's see you try to escape.
Hmm...I like that! I was originally going to go with Kanji/Yukiko, because I love that pairing so much, but I may well do it. I was hoping to kinda throw a lot of the Social Link characters aside, but Naoki I'll definitely keep, and I'll try to meet your challenge, though I can't promise that Kanji will end up with Naoki, simply because I love YukikoKanji too much! XD
I also intend to use Rise a lot, because she's just such a great character, even if she can be irritating. Slave, huh...I like that. ;P
Finally, how would you feel if I told you that my original pairings for the piece were Souji/Teddie as the focal pairing, AkiMina, MitsuruSouji, RyojiChie, YosukeFuuka, JunpeiChidori (because it's the best canon pairing :D), SoujiYukari, RiseNaoto, YukikoKanji, and...well, a whole lot of other pairings? I also intended to use an Elizabeth pairing, a Margaret pairing, and an Igor pairing, but I haven't decided who with yet. :D
It's strange to think the only confirmed nonstraight character ends almost always used only on het pairings. Such a confusing character that Kanji, doesn't help his characterization being changed from Japanese to Western version because he was too gay for America. Just one more thing for me to hate about the great localization.
What about IgorAigis? You can't get cracker than that without using Kashiwagi, Hanako or Koromaru.
Fun tip: On the original game, Chie and Yosuke never refered to each other with their fist names, Naoto refers to everyone though their surnames without exeption, she being the only person to call Kanji as Tatsumi from the whole group, Risette is Rise-chi, Yuka-tan is Yukari-chi, everyone calls Akihiko, Mitsuru and Shinjiro by their surnames+sempai, Mitsuru always refers to people with their surnames Akihiko and Shinjiro aside, and Junpei and Kanji have a verbal tic that makes them pronunce a 'su' or 's' sound on the end of every sentence or verb.
