This one doesn't surprise me. I wish I could have found the one I was looking for though. It was even better.

Funny thing about Picasso... my favorite works of his tend to focus more on mood, color, and texture than on form or the subject matter. This one, it's the texture and colors that I love.
There were quite a few things I liked from the Rose period, but the Blue period was a killer. I first learned about them while standing in line at my college bookstore. They had these neat inexpensive little books on indivdula artists and I thumbed through them while I was waiting--along with that Kenneth Rexroth book of translated Japanese poetry I reviewed. It made standing in line almost fun.

I always liked standing in line... for films. I hate waiting rooms in doctor's offices, though!

I don't mind waiting anywhere, unless there's no one else ahead of me. Then I can't imagine what the hold up is.
