Yes, You Can Learn to Draw for Fun or Profit!

If you can't draw as well as you would like, give the Parks a short at helping you draw to your satisfaction. I believe they can!

As an artist, drawing is vital. Drawing anything can be daunting, even when you do it painting after painting. Carrie Stuart Parks and Rick Parks present drawing concepts like no others, including the popular Drawing From the Right Side of the Brain .

Why I enjoyed going through this book, when many other books were so dry, hard and boring, I stopped and never finished them, is because I could think and do the concepts, because they made them easy to understand. They has "pssssst" hints that helped me over the humps. Pictures, pictures, pictures made the learning easier. Telling me about perspective never worked. Showing me a new way to attain the right size for everything did. The Parks are all about tricks, tips and strategies! Who doesn't like to learn with tricks, tips and stragegies?

And they thought grids were time-consuming and rarely necessary. Wahoo!

Thanks for the recommendation, Barbara!  I use to love drawing and have been meaning to pick up again, so I'll look into this book!  By the way, I moved your review out of the Lunch Founders community and into the Art is Life community.  It is in much better company in this community ;)
