The 2010 Captain Rex (2010 Blue Card CW01) action figure is a favorite of mine for two reasons: 1) It's Captain Rex, the most interesting character in the Clone Wars animated series and 2) his helmet is removeable.

Rex is definitely my favorite part of the Clone Wars series. His character has grown and developed more than Anakin Skywalker or any of the other characters in my opinion. Among the clones, he stands out the most as well.

This particular mold comes with a helmet, the Captain's signature blasters (which can be place in their holsters), a long rifle that you can attach a firing missile to (which doesn't work that well in all honesty), and a Galactic Battle card and die.

Rex' right hand is set in a firing position, and his trigger finger fits nicely over the trigger of his blasters and rifle. Unfortunately the left hand is molded in a gripping fashion and the pistol doesn't fit quite as well, making it hard to pose this figure with both blasters in hand as the Captain is often seen.

The missile launcher is ho-hum. It's flimsy, aggravating to use, and the missile is attached by a string. I would have much rathered that Hasbro added "secret weapons" as they did with many of the other figures in this line.

Still, this figure strikes a wonderful pose and while Darth Maul protects the dark side of my computer monitor, Rex handles any battle droids that might attempt to infiltrate the light side.
