Twitter is great for business! Networking, leads, jobs, ideas, a great tool for expanding the reach of your brand - whatever it may be!

Twitter is good for marketing purposes & sharing info, but it is also overwhelming. How can I follow thousands of people talking at once?

Twitter teaches one to be succinct...it's a good way to let your blog readers know you've posted, too

My problem with Twitter is that some friends tweet way too much. But I don't want to hurt their feelings by removing them. Any suggestions?

Finally broke down and joined Twitter for networking. It's pretty immersive, huh?

Today is the day I started a new Twitter account, more than a year after I deleted my first one. I am a Web professional, so joining social networking sites goes with the territory, but Twitter became an obsession of mine at one time. I couldn't finish a single project without tweeting incessantly.     My Twitter feed was the first thing I checked in the morning and the last thing I checked at night. I was constantly following new people and, in turn, trying to please my followers …

Essentially just a more tweakable facebook status. Cool, but only got popular cause celebs used it rather than their promo people.

I love the micro-blogging, better than Facebook status updates, sms of the internet platform! But then again I love texting messaging, spending countless hours on facebook and blogging so I'm the perfect candidate.     I'm expanding my social sphere. Meeting up with Twitter "friends" in real life. I'm following industry information in social media through Mashable and other marketing/advertising professionals. I'm getting personal information on health & fitness by following …

twitter has come such a long way since I last reviewed it. So many apps and functionality! Bummer about the spammers.

Flavor of the Month. It's a simple idea, but brilliant none the less. To be honest I love twitter and have found it is amazing right now for promoting virtually anything to friends. My friend and I started a website and we have been utilizing twitter applications to seek out people who would be interested in our website.    With the advent of crackberrys and iphones it seems like twitter is perfect! It allows people to stay updated with their friends random ranblings and senseless …

Twitter has a lot of potential, but needs to be more accessible and include more features. Besides, who really cares what I'm doing anyway?

I don't get it....it's Facebook without all the fun stuff.

I'm a relatively new Tweeter, having picked up the habit at the Web 2.0 Expo a few weeks back. Converted from the ranks of Luddites who don't see the value in microblogging, I realized at the conference just how amazingly revolutionary it really was. The presenter of the keynotes walked on wearing what appeared to be pajamas, although I'm sure they were super-trend retro something or other, but the Twitter response on #w2e immediately burst to life:  - "What the **** is he wearing?"- "Is …

With the influx of celebrity Twitter accounts to follow, I think I'm starting to believe that I'm somehow "in-the-know" about these peoples' personal lives. You know you're in trouble when you're sitting on the couch with your boyfriend watching TV and suddenly shout, "OMG! Ashton just posted a pic of Demi's butt in the mirror!!!" Gulp. Not that I did that or anything.  Also, celebrities make your real friends seem a lot less interesting.   All in all, a dangerous situation.

OK- how were there reviews of specific tweets, but not a review for Twitter.com itself???    When people ask me what Twitter is or what the point is, I have a really hard time answering, even though I use it every single day. It's one of those things that you have to use BEFORE you understand why you're using it. But I'll try...    Twitter claims to be a micro-blogging site. You are supposed to answer the question: "What are you doing?" So, where you'd have …

I find that the facebook.com status update has replaced the need for twitter.com.  For one, it's simpler to interact with one website than with two.  Also, all of the people with whom I want to communicate are on facebook, whereas at twitter I have to go develop another audience.  I actually find that I enjoy twitter most, not to communicate with those I know, but rather with those I don't know.  For instance, celebrity following ("follow"   is the term for staying …

So I found Twitter through a 30 day learning course I'm taking.  I had never heard of it untill then.  I signed up for it thinking it would be more like a traditional blogger system.  Boy was I wrong!  It's so easy to just update friends and other people that I'm following to check out a site, give 'em an update on what I've been doing or learning, etc.      If you use this with Flock or Firefox browers you can download Twitterbar and give an update …
