Hi my name is Dorsi and I'm a Craigslist-aholic. (And I'm not afraid to admit it!) I love Craigslist ! In fact , just today I picked up an awesome rocker for my daughter-in-law to rock my new grandson in - and the cost? A big whopping FREE!!. My other favorite finds on Craigslist? My best buddie Karma, a caramel colored Border collie whom I got as a puppy. (She is by far my greatest Craigslist treasure!)
Hmmm.... and I guess I should mention my current job as an art instructor also came from the Craigslist job postings ( you would be amazed at the jobs you can find there)
And besides finding treasure and great finds on Craigslist, I've sold a ton of stuff there ( when my husband and I closed one of our businesses we liquidated most of it on Craigslist)
Craigslist rocks!

What can't you find on Craigslist! I love it too. It's one of my daily go-to sites. Glad to hear you had such great luck with it.

Fortunate happenings in my life that I can attribute to Craigslist: 1. My home, which is a rented house for waaay below market rate. Shhhhhh, I hope the owner doesn't see this and decide to raise the rent! 2. My job! I love my job, the company I work for, my boss and my co-workers, and I owe it aalllll to Craigslist. I've also found some pretty nice freelance gigs here, too. Crossing my fingers for one in particular... 3. An awesome nanny we had once for our daughter. Wonderful person, great with the kids, and affordable. But we also worked out deal where she could bring her own kids to work. With an agency, you just don't get the personal touch and flexibility to negotiate and work out compromises email to email. 4. I've gotten rid of a rodent cage, a bassinet, concert tickets and much more. For sale, free, or barter is a great place to find and trade resources. So...my name is Nicole, and I, too, am a Craigslist-aholic.

Internet phenomenal, scourge to society or mirror to human civilization? Who knows but one thing's for sure - you haven't lived until you've tried to sell a sofa on Craigslist.      As a website, it's an amazing survivor of the 1995 era where WebPagesThatSuck outed the most outrageous offenders of terrible navigation, poor display, graphics and just general awfulness. I've heard that founder Craig Newmark likes it that way. I can guess from this single …

Yes, I know Craigslist is more than just buying and selling "stuff".  I haven't found much use for Craigslist outside of selling stuff, though.  I haven't even purchased anything off the site.  Just today I gathered up some stuff and listed it in my own virtual garage sale.  You can read about that here:      http://jeffdalydose.wordpress.com/2010/02/04/digitalgaragesale/      So what some other uses for Craigslist?   …

I actually use this site quite often. It has allot of different aspects to it, and I know it has received some bad press but I defiantly think it has more to offer then to offend.

Great for entertainment, but very unreliable for finding job prospects, etc. Be careful to avoid scams!
