This book contains vocal selections for the 1987 Revival edition of the Cole Porter musical ANYTHING GOES from the Lincoln Center. Not all of the songs from the revival show are included here, just the highlights. ANYTHING GOES is one of my favorite musicals, but I'm not a big fan of the 1987 Revival version. My favorite version is the 1962 Revival, followed by the original 1934 version. One of my favorite songs in the 1962 version is "Take Me Back To Manhattan" and that's missing in the 1987 version. Despite the omissions and additions, this is a good collection to have. The songs in the book are: "All Through the Night" "Anything Goes" "Be Like a Blue Bird" "Blow, Gabriel, Blow" "Buddie Beware" "Easy to Love" "Friendship" "Goodbye, Little Dream, Goodbye" "Gypsy In Me" "I Get a Kick Out of You" "It's De-Lovely" "Public Enemy #1" "You're the Top"
