A Christian fantasy novel for children written by C.S. Lewis.
< read all 158 reviews The Lion the witch and the wardrobe is an excellent journey into an imaginary world. It also combines a great message of sacrifice and forgiveness. I was very excites at the start of reading this book and by the end the excitement just increased. C. S. Lewis uses great imagination and draws you into the story with each page. As you o deeper into the world of Narnia, the action increases but so does the message. I read it when i as a kid and just recently picked it up and had the same feeling of excitement. I remember just getting engrossed in the magic of this book. The images just blew my mind. For adults there is also the parallels to life that can be made. I would recommend this book to anyone with a reat imagination. You will not be disappointed. For those who are philisophical this book is for you also. The theme of sacrifice and forgiveness is played out all the way through. Especially in the relationship of peter and his brother. The movie, although enjoyable, that was made from this does not compare to the vividness expressed in reading this book.
Overall getting this book you will not lose so go read it!!!
