Awesome, thanks. And great that you're planning a trip to the Twin Cities! Some good options include the Graves hotel (right downtown near the Target Center), the W (a bit larger, 200 rooms, art deco, they have a cool bar and observation deck), and the Chambers Hotel (smaller-60 rooms and considered an art hotel). Hope that helps. Let me know if you need any other recommendations while you're in town!

Bethany: I am willing to review Minnesota golf courses. That is of course, if your website will foot the bill. Love, Chad

thanking for your encouragement to write comments on Whitman-Ron ------------------- POETRY AS PRAYER The roots of poetry are in religion and poetry for me never loses its sense of the religious, the sacred, never loses its holy air. For me poetry is most effective in solitude, in times of aloneness and only, on certain special occasions, in a public setting. It is like prayer in this regard. Poetry puts me in touch with something deep and mysterious, something quite beyond me, yet closer to me that my life's vein, as Baha'u'llah puts it. This is how the famous American poet Wallace Stevens put it and he echoes my experience of poetry's prayerful solitariness. And finally, in a similar vein, while Walt Whitman was writing his great epic charter of democracy, Leaves of Grass, he wrote the following. It finds an echo in the great epic charter of this democratic-theocracy I've been associated with for over forty years. ---------------------------- A Clear Midnight This is thy hour O Soul, thy free flight into the wordless, Away from books, away from art, the day erased, the lesson done, Thee fully forth emerging, silent, gazing, pondering the themes thou lovest best. Night, sleep, death, and the stars. -Ron Price with thanks to Edward Hirsch in Borzoi Reader: Poets on Poetry, on The Iternet, 18 November 2001. ----------------------- A clear midnight and, if awake, a time for prayer, a special moment for my soul, a supplication He wrote to help me open my eyes. But, for me, books and art are prized possessions. When my day is erased and I ponder the themes on which my life is based I see my life and its action as vitally linked with a special plan, not a faction. Ron Price 19 November 2001

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I do use mostly 100% cotton and linen blends. There are so many beautiful fabrics out there but I want the clothes to be easy to care for since they are for children. I try to reserve hand wash or dry clean only fabrics for special occasion wear. I'll have to get a review together about my fave fabric designers and colors for kids. I'm working on my fall collection right now so I am definitely into a more earthy color palette right now.

It makes sense to use fabrics that are easy to clean and manage! I can't wait to read your review.

Thanks! I am on Twitter but definitely need to use it more. I was waiting to apply to Trunkt until I had a bit more collections under my belt. I've never heard of the other one so I will be checking that out. I have only had one sale so far on Etsy but it has only been a month with very little advertising so we'll see. I do get lots of visitors and views so that is good. From what I know about the kids clothing industry spring/summer tend to be a bit slow so I am just working on a bigger collection for fall, The Story Club Collection, launching my Etsy shop for nursery linens and decor and working on my blog and photography. I love how much information there is on Etsy for sellers. They help you so much, it is wonderful. The Storque is fantastic!

Very cool! I agree, Etsy is a wonderful spot for sellers. Twitter is a great way to draw traffic to your Etsy account through links. I'd love hear a review of your favorite fabrics and colors for kids! Do you use mostly cotton?

Hey Bethany! What do you think of style.com?

Hi Bethany! Thanks for reading my Anthro review. I could just move into that place! I love their clothes but lately I find myself looking more at the accessories and home decor. Oh and books too. I love the floral headbands and clips. They're so girly and I love that. Anthro's home decor just keeps getting better and better. I am currently coveting a new duvet cover there that is absolutely divine. I do have an Etsy shop and a website as well. The current collection that I have available is much brighter than the other collections that i am currently working on but I wanted to debut with something small, fun and simple. My Etsy shop is www.littlelotticlothing.com and my website is www.littlelotticlothing.com. I'd love to hear what you think. It is definitely a work in progress. I'm already looking for a website re-design and I only launched it a month ago;)

The line is adorable and I love the name, "Sunday Afternoon". Very playful and imaginative. How exciting for you! Have you checked out Twitter, Trunkt, or Erayo for further online marketing? Those sites can be useful to build your brand. If you have used them, I be curious to hear your reviews. Have you had a good experience with Etsy thus far? Congratulations!

Oh yeah I totally forgot about UConn. Thabeet is a beast! I didn't catch the BC/Duke game. I heard it was great though. March Madness is almost upon us!

Hi Bethany! Regarding your comment post on my profile.... I may have to turn in my man card, but The Bachelor finale was just crazy. The wife and I were so happy that he chose Melissa, but were absolutely astonished over what happened in the follow-up show. Jason went from a super-likable guy that had his heart broken by that Deanna koo-koo.... to a bit of a koo-koo himself. We felt horrible for Melissa. As for March Madness, I think that a team from the Big East will take down the nets this go-round. UConn is real strong, as is Pitt. Louisville is going to make some noise. I'd like to say that my Longhorns will be there in the end, but I don't think they're consistent enough. Thanks for visiting my profile!

You are right, The Bachelor finale was a total mess! I can't believe Jason broke up with sweet Melissa on National TV, but it just goes to show that there are absolutely no boundaries in show biz. As for bball I'm liking UConn as well. The Big East is a power house of teams. Did you catch the BC vs. Duke game? BC finally beat Duke after a decade of misery. It was amazing. Looking forward to March Madness!

Hi Bethany. I was just randomly browsing thru my similarity network, and noticed that we have very similar tastes, mostly on food and fashion. Very cool!
