FAVORITE TV SHOWS

Unfortunately there are only re-runs showing, but I watch it every night. There is not much humor, but the team solves cold cases from murders that have gone unsolved anywhere from a few years to a few decades ago. I find the show can be sad, as usually the murders were committed for no good reason, but I believe this makes the show more realistic that way. It is impressive how the cases are solved; after all, DNA was not perfected when the murder took place years ago. The stories and plots are extremely interesting to me, and again, probing into the mind of a killer always is intriguing. The end of the show always gets to me, as the victim is shown as a ghost figure who is happy the killer is caught, it's like they can rest in peace now, and the music they play along with this vision can really tug at your heart. As much as I love crime series, I do not like ones where the police taunt potential murderers, and the characters in Cold Case do not do that - they go with the facts without being aggressive or arrogant. This is an interesting and touching series that any crime lover would enjoy.
