Bordeaux on the West Side?

As most of us know, the west side of Paso Robles is definitely known for their Rhone varietals. But I would like to draw your attention to an east side winery with a relatively new tasting room on Vineyard Drive that is producing great Cabs. Chateux Margene is a family run winery that has been producing mostly Cabernet Savignon out of their vineyards on the east side. They have recently decided to open up shop on the west side so they could take advantage of the "foot" traffic. They have an alternative label, Mooney Family, which focuses mainly on Rhone varietals. They are also blending a bit of Syrah to smooth out the tanins in the Cab which is really working, I must say!
The grounds surrouding the tasting room have beautiful walnut groves and a farm. There is a wrap-around porch perfect for a picnic complete with amazing scenery.
