My favorite bands are an interesting esoteric bunch.
2
Syd
Awesome psychedelic musician who provided Pink Floyd with two of their best albums and produced two solo albums.
3
Cowsills
Sunshine pop never sounded so sweet.
See the full review, "Sunshine Psychedelia never sounded so sweet.".
4
The Band (love that '80s hair)
Trent Reznor's concept albums are phenomenal.
5
Motorhead
Lemmy's bass playing and rough vocals make this one of my favorite rock n' roll bands.
6
The New York Dolls
who can not love the Dolls? The two guitar punch of Johnny Thunders and Sylvain Sylvain with David Johansen's vocals make for some interesting garage rock mixed with blues.
7
ABBA
Cheesy pop music at it's finest. Who does not like ABBA?
8
KMFDM
Industrial music music defined.
9
public image limited
John Lydon's new assault on pop music after he left the Sex Pistols.
10
*The Monkees*
Sweet pop music from the 60's. Who doesn't enjoy bubblegum music every now and then?
11
Far out space rock from this highly influential band from the UK.
12
The first Clash line up
Even though they tried ever so hard to break into the mainstream, The Clash still carried the punk rock banner high whenever they were in concert.
See the full review, "The Clash's debut album!".
13
The Sex Pistols
The main force behind the UK punk scene that changed 70's music for the better.
See the full review, "One of the major UK punk bands from the class of 1976.".
14
Marilyn Manson
His Nietzsche inspired trilogy of concept albums make him one of my favorites.
15
Ramones
Catchy three cord punk rock inspired many a band.

You'll notice from this list that when it comes to music my interest stopped in the VERY early seventies. And once again this list is no [articular order …
