I lived less than 2 miles from a State Park and never knew it until I got a new puppy. Now I know every park in a 1 hour range and go there 4 or 5 times a week. Thank you Chili
No one in the neighborhood ever stopped to introduce themselves until I walked the dog everynight. They only know me as "Chili's mom " but we are neighbors now.
I agree with and can relate to your entire list (except #6, as I don't have a bird!)...but especially #4. Some people say I am actually more outgoing since I adopted Missy in late 2008. I walked these same streets for exercise before the dog and didn't meet many people. But with a gorgeous fluffy puppy, everyone is stopping me on the street to talk and pet my pup! I have made so many friends through Missy...a great side benefit! :)
Great list! Good to hear that your pooch cleans up after your birdie ;) You may have noticed that I revamped your list a bit; I added the description on this page instead of the topic page so that users can see them all here. Let me know if you have any questions about that. Thanks for sharing this list, and I look forward to seeing more! Perhaps a parrot one? :)
It's true there are so many great things that come from having a dog! I'd like to know more about why you love the items on your list...For me, going to the park with my dog is such a great way to get fresh air and exercise! You might also enjoy checking out @CampingDog's list on Favorite Dog Toys!
