"Healer" is a historical romance set in 6th-century Scotland in the time of Arthur. The world-building was good, and the historical detail was woven into the story. The focus was mainly on the political and religious structure of the time period, though, rather than the day-to-day details of living. The romance was a pretty typical romance novel set-up. Let me just start off by saying that Linda Windsor's "Healer" is not just a straight Fiction novel. It is, in fact, Christian Fiction - something of which I was not aware when I got this book.
