Leave It to Chance by Sherri Sand is a terrific book about how God can use what seems like bad circumstances to turn our entire lives around. Sierra Montgomery is a single mom facing unemployment and possible eviction by the end of the month when she inherits a horse named Chance. Sierra's three children immediately fall in love with the horse, especially with her mother's interference. Ross Morgan, a landscaper with some extra pasture land, agrees to board the horse for Sierra, but soon all of the Montgomerys are working their way into his life and his heart. Sand writes with a good deal of humor and heart. I couldn't help but ache for Sierra as she struggles to take care of her children inspite of no money and an absentee father and meddling grandmother. Chance brings Ross and Sierra together, as well as providing an outlet for the children's love and hope. God works several miracles through one old horse by the end of the novel. It's a wonderful read.<br/>
