What I'll elaborate on is my experiences with playing the game.
It was indeed one of the oldest board games in the world. I haven't played a game of it since 1993!
What I like about it is the combination of luck and strategy. Very much like how we live our real life.
I had the most fun playing it with my colleagues, well, for the fact I won quite a bit of their money! Haha...

I also love the fact one can speed the game up to match point when one has an advantage over his/her opponents. By redoubling the stake, one can literally win the game without going to the final rounds if his/her opponents resign from the game. That's the most exciting part of the game, imho. Thus, it may be a simple game, but it certainly is not for the faint-hearted!!!
