This was my panel, so my opinion my be biased ;) As a Core Conversation, this was not a typical panel of presentation. This was aimed to be in the format of a discussion surrounding the topic. We had a fun room of folks from all walks of life including Technology, Security, and Law. We started with an introduction to the topic and services that aim … more

While the panelist included Tom Watson and Michael Sharon from Facebook along with Justin Shaffer from Hot Potato Media, I felt the panel did a mediocre job of presenting basic and painfully obvious ways of making your mobile application more social. Things didn't start getting good until their presentation started. What I did enjoy about this … more

The Eleven API Lounge was one of the best places to stop into when visiting the Hilton Hotel for panels at SxSW. The places was nicely decorated feeling just like a lounge. They provided  free Mimosa's for breakfast and free snacks and beer for lunch. It was pretty relaxing compared to all the hustle and bustle just on the other side of their … more

I was enjoying the beginning of this panel, but by the end of the panel I wasn't pleased.  I came because of Carla Thompson who's sheer brilliance on semantic search brought me out to hear more. However, it wasn't what I expected. There was too much focus on defining semantics, rather than going beyond it. I figured this would be like Advanced … more

From Robert Scoble  to Laura Fitton to Tara Hunt, all the stars were out last night at the MashBash SxSW. If you weren't cool enough to get a VIP wristband the line for the party went around the block. Wait times were so long that people eventually created a check-in for the line on Foursquare. Once inside there were many … more

I have to disagree, after the rain came, this was just as packed as any other party at SxSW.

This year I decided to branch outside of my social media box and explore a future reality: Your Online Identity After Death & Digital Wills (http://bit.ly/djptiS). I'm curious to see what other SxSW panels will also have conversations about the future. Here are the panels I've found so far.

Welcome to Lunch, Corvida!  Glad to see that you've gotten acquainted with rating topics :)  Something tells me that you might appreciate these reviews of Google Buzz, Scientifik, twitter, and the highly anticipated iPad.  Since you rated the iPhone so highly, you might also enjoy these list of iPhone Applications.  Have fun poking around Lunch, and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.  Looking forward to your contributions, Corvida! :)

Thank you Devora for reaching out with these awesome suggestions. I'm going through the iPhone Applications list now. I'm interested in hearing the conversations around the iPad too so I'll be on there. Again, thanks for the awesome suggestions. Great ways to get me started on Lunch.
