'Gone downhill as a reliable go-to' sums it up pretty well.     I don't set foot in here anymore, after a couple of serious disasters and a horrifying, non-existent return policy. A pair of khakis (this used to be THE store for khakis!) went to hell in one wash. I got a "Sorry, we don't take things back if they've been washed." But it's unwearable junk, worse than Walmart... "Sorry."    Later on I bought a black sweater, cotton with a bit of cashmere. Also …

man has this place gone downhill - in a few ways: as a reliable go-to, as a powerhouse brand & as an iconic Amercian fashion staple. bummer.
