Since the other colors were sold out, I bought this pretty blouse in berry for my granddaughter for her birthday...in addition to a black, more tailored one. Check my reviews to glimpse that one, if you wish.
Looks like I BINGOed with both choices. When they arrived, Michelle phoned to let me know she loved them both. She says this v-necked one is a bit more sexy than the black one, so I have a hunch she might like it better...girls being girls, you know. :-)
I liked the black one for its more tailored, career-girl look, but really like the rope-and-mesh trim along the neckline of this babydoll top with its flattering gathered empire waist. She commented on the delicate puffiness of the three-quarter sleeves and the twenty-six-inch length.
I was a bit concerned thinking the berry might clash with her red hair, but she says it's a much deeper shade than described, tending more towards plum. I was relieved when she said it goes with her coloring quite well.
All in all, a good day's shopping. I'm very pleased with both tops and the reasonable price.
