Keeping me OC cute but not LA poor.

I love H&M because you can get really cheap clothes that are cute but you only need to wear a few times. Also, besides Aldo, it may be the best place to find really-cheap-but-super-cute accessories and sunglasses. And since I lose my stuff on a weekly basis, its great that I can go back and find something completely different and new each time. The last time I was there I spend $100 on a shirt, a belt, a hat, three bracelets, and two rings. Hell yea!

The H&M in San Fransisco is two stories and laid out like a maze. I kept seeing things I wanted and then couldn't figure out how to get to them or find them again. The cool thing about this was that there were great clothes around corners that I didn't even realize were corners!

The H&M at Crystal Court in South Coast Plaza is GINORMOUS. Every time I go there my arms are full before I even get to the second side of the store.  Although it’s big, the store is laid out in such a simple manner. Here are shirts in three colors. No thanks. Here are jackets in two colors. Yes please. Okay, move along, thanks.

One bad quality to note, however, is the employees. They all look like they are pissed off and having to work and do not want to help in any way. One time when I was TRYING to look at the bracelets on one of the accessory racks, and employee was restocking and simply refused to get out of my way. Seriously?  R-U-D-E.

Thank you, H&M for keeping me OC cute but not LA poor.

Looks like the price is right. Also, take a look at Haband- the mail order catalog. http://www.haband.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/p...4201-8c8b-a36a92154718/

Can I also say that the other bad quality that H&M has is that they don't take American Express...yup, that's right. Ellen said American Express is everywhere you want it to be; clearly not. Although I do like the fashion, it gets super annoying to see 5 other people wearing the same GOD DAMN thing when going out. I was in Tokyo last week and their H&M was completely different than ours. So I advise anyone who want's to look unique and be H&M fashionable, to visit an H&M outside of the country...just don't forget your VISA and/or MASTERCARD. :)

Totally agreed. My biggest fear ever is having the same H&M dress as 3 other girls at a party! Faux pas.

Also, you really have to use a sharp eye when picking out items. Yes, everything there is super cheap, but only certain things *look* cheap. I'll only buy the things that look higher quality; that look like I spent more than $30 on it ;) That way no one knows!!

OMG- I LOVE H&M and you are so right about their employees, mostly rude hipsters that seem to just love to watch you walk around with armloads of clothes. But, I always chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" and that helps a bit ;p

Remember the old days when your parents would take you to your local Sears or JC Penny's and would buy all the shirts that were under $15 and regardless if you liked them or not, those were the very clothes that you were to make last all year? Well those days have been long gone since I grew up, and it has definitely had its ups and downs. The moment I started choosing and buying my own shirts and jeans, I realized just how expensive it was to have what all the cool kids had. I remember my first …

As a weekly regular at H&M, I have to say this store lately has become way too hit or miss. I frequently visit the greater Los Angeles stores, located at the Beverly Center, Sunset Plaza and 3rd Street Promenade, sometimes leaving there with bags full of the latest runway trends knocked off in lower quality fabrics. Other times, I go in and am deeply disappointed in the merchandise hanging on the racks.       However, H&M has done a great job of publicizing their …

H&M is a college fashionista’s savior. The store has low prices and great quality clothing. Many stores with low price points often sacrifice quality during production to keep the prices low, but H&M keeps the quality well intact. H&M is a one stop kind of shop as well. They offer everything from on-trend pieces to internship interview worthy ensembles. It is nice to know that you can purchase a lower priced trendy item and not have to worry that you may only wear it this season …

My friends shop here all the time, but I can never find good stuff.

I loved H&M a lot more in Europe, still love it here though. I rarely find many things that have the "need" factor.

Love. this. place.  Whether you're looking for something cool and contemporary to wear to your job interview, to class, or out to a nightclub, you can find it here. While I have noticed that the store has recently upped its prices a bit, most items can still be considered a steal, no matter how you slice it.     Now, as a previous reviewer mentioned, you do sacrifice some durability with the clothing here, so if you're in the market for an long-term investment piece like …
