I'm not sure when leather bomber jackets went out of style...or really when they came back in... but My-oh-My are they back and as HOT as ever!

I don't suggest donning an all leather outfit (leather pants, leather boots, leather bomber) unless you are about to embark on a cross country motorcycle tour; but pairing a fashionable, fitted bomber with a frilly shirt and jeans...so cute and so in.

I recently found my way into the arms of an Alice + Olivia Breck Bomber in camel leather...and I am completely obsessed. The jacket is well tailored, warm, seemingly weatherproof (I live in SoCal...doesn't rain much here) and I get compliments on it everywhere I go!

GORGEOUS! Alice + Olivia is one of my favorite brands; Stacey Bendet has an eye for fashion and everything 'hot.' Where did you get yours? I too live in SoCal, and used to get my A+O at Pink boutique in Hermosa, however it has since closed its doors :(

Winter 2010 Bomber Jackets
You’ll look forward to chilly Fall days when you have the hot jacket of the season in your coat closet. Bombers and shearling are in, and they’re available at every price range. The Bomber Shearling Jacket is a huge hit this Fall/Winter 2010 (as seen on Halle Berry and in the Philip Lim Show). Look stylish but tough in your Alice + Olivia cropped bomber with skinny jeans and boots. If you’re not ready to make the plunge for Juicy, trendy chain Love Culture’s  …

I've always been a bit of a girly-girl (no, I'm not talking head-to-toe pink or Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde) just, you know, a little ruffle here and bit of lace there. Call it the "feminine-romantic" vogue.  That said, when I saw leather bomber jackets decorating the divas on the streets of Chi-town, my gag reflexes were in full effect. I mean, I love my man leather-clad, but I wasn't sure that I could pull off the hard-street-girl style without looking like a seen-better-days Aerosmith …
