Zappos - wonderful selection and top-notch customer service

I am not a typical female in the sense that I HATE shoe shopping. Hate it with a passion. I've been known to wear shoes until they get holes in them just so I can avoid shoe shopping. And then I discovered Zappos.com and their selection of 4 million shoes (yes, you read that number right). Looking for a pair of tan suede knee-high wide calf boots with a 4" heel in size 9? No problem. Jonesing for a pair of lime green gym shoes, size 12? Zappos has got your back. No matter what it is your looking for, this website seems to have it. The best part of this website are the shipping and return policies. Unlike most online stores, Zappos.com will not charge you a ridiculous amount of money to receive your purchase next day. Without fail, every order I've placed through their free shipping option has been shipped to my doorstep within one business day. Best of all, Zappos includes FREE (yes, free) return shipping with every purchase - AND they process refunds immediately.

Beyond that, the customer service at Zappos is excellent. In fact, they are highly acclaimed for their commitment to personal customer service. I recently read an article that stated upon commencement of training, all new employees are offered a $1,000 bonus in addition to pay for the time they've worked if they choose to quit. Zappos uses this method to weed out those who don't have the sense of commitment they're seeking.

If only all companies valued their customers as much.

That's insane!! I guess that's a good way to fire people even if you don't have a legal reason to do it? I've never ordered anything from here before.. but I do browse the site often. I'll keep the cust serv in mind for next time! :)

Free upgraded shipping? Awesome!
I haven't shopped at Zappos in a very long time, so long in fact I couldn't remember my password to the site. However, last night I was ordering some shoes for an upcoming wedding and found exactly what I was looking for...at the right price on zappos. *Side note, I think I stopped using zappos as my go-to shoe shopping portal because the prices were higher than other shoe shopping sites (endless.com for example).      Anyway, I placed my order for these shoes from Zappos …

Its funny how this site has been around for so long and I never gave it a try before.  My friend told me about it so I went and checked it out.  First thing I noticed was that the prices weren't that great.  Almost everything was full retail price.  But I was sold immediately when I found out it was free overnight shipping and no tax.  I've ordered a pair of shoes and jeans from them and they came the very next business day.  And from what I've heard, even though I …
