I actually caught myself laughing out loud hard to almost tears several times. Two divorce attorneys live their fantasy by crashing weddings to get free food and seduce women. Then at a wedding for a relative of a senator, Owen Wilson meets the woman of his dreams (Rachel McAdams) and Vaughn meets her wild sister who he deflowers. The girls invite them to stay the weekend at their estate. The weekend proves to be too much because the longer they are with someone, the more likely their lies will be exposed.

Wilson has fallen in love and he needs Vaughn to stay with him to keep up his ruse and win over McAdams who is engaged to an obnoxious and sometimes violent guy. Vaughn is caught up with wild sex with McAdams sister and advances from her brother and can't take it and tries to leave until Wilson convinces him to stay.
When they are found out to be fakes the two are devastated, especially Owen because he is in love with McAdams and is prevented from ever seeing her.
Wilson then goes to see the man who invented the wedding crashing idea and made it an art (played by a famous uncredited guest star who virtually steals the rest of the movie).
Christopher Walken is great as the girl's senator father and Jane Seymour looks as great as ever as the senator's wife who tries to seduce Owen.

Wedding Crashers is another in the line of adolescent comedy that seems so popular nowadays. There are some funny scenes, and Will Farrell has a great cameo. However, with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, I was expecting to be laughing out loud a lot more, and I wasn't. By the end of the film, it seems more like a shallow love story than a comedy film. Good for some laughs, but these actors have done better films.

John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn) are lifelong friends and business partners who work as divorce mediators in Washington, D.C. They are fairly good at what they do and seem to enjoy what they do. The reason for this is that in the springtime they take off and travel around the country seeking weddings to crash. Pros: Vince Vaughn carried this movie, and Rachel McAdams is a beauty. Cons: Nothing really... Plot Details: This opinion reveals minor details about the movie''s plot. The Frat-Pack, are surely the hardest working collective in Hollywood. Hardly a couple of month's goes by without a movie featuring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jack Black, Will Ferrell, or those Wilson boys Luke and Owen being released. "Wedding Crashers" is a very funny film. It's got more laughs and potty humor in it than you can shake a stick at. It's almost perfect, but there's one flaw. It tries too hard to appeal to both men and women at the same time. It takes raunchy fun and tries to couple it with a romantic comedy. The two genres rarely mix well. Comedies based on ideas and lines that play for laughs at the expense of other people's dignity have been increasingly flooding the cinema market in the past years. They usually tend to be summer blockbusters and because they make a lot of money and attract record crowds there must be need for them. Go figure. About this movie
With Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as a pair of brazen wedding crashers, this buddy/romantic comedy milks a few big laughs from its foolproof premise. Under the direction of David Dobkin (who previously worked with Wilson onShanghai Knights), the movie ranges from bawdy romp to mushy romance, and that tonal identity crisis curtails the overall hilarity. But when the well-teamed costars are firing on all pistons with fast-paced dialogue and manic situations, belly laughs are delivered at a steady clip. Things get complicated when the guys infiltrate the family of the Treasury Secretary (Christopher Walken), resulting in a romantic pair-off between Vaughn and the congressman's oversexed daughter Gloria (Isla Fisher) while Wilson sincerely woos another daughter, Claire (Rachel McAdams), who's unhappily engaged to an Ivy League cheater (Bradley Cooper). Walken is more or less wasted in his role, but Jane Seymour and Henry Gibson make amusing appearances, and a surprise guest arrives late in the game for some over-the-top scene-stealing. It's all a bit uneven, but McAdams (considered by some to be "the next Julia Roberts") is a pure delight, and with enough laughs to make it easily recommended,Wedding Crasherswill likely find its place on DVD shelves alongside other flawed but enjoyable R-rated comedies that embrace a naughtier, nastier brand of humor with no need for apologies.--Jeff Shannon
