BAGGU Reusable Shopping Tote - 6-Pack
I have been eying the BAGGU Reusable Shopping Totes for some time now. I had also looked at the Envirosax, ChicoBag and Waste-Less brands, but when the BAGGU's were available on a Lightning Deal recently I made the leap.    Pros:   * Lots of colors to choose from - I chose Fuchsia  * Size - They hold a lot and they fold up into a small pouch. I carry two in …

Charlie's Soap
Do you think you need to use harsh chemical detergents to get your clothes clean? Think again. Charlie's Soap completely shatters that myth. The truth is, most conventional detergents do not clean your clothes - instead they use brighteners and additives to make it appear clean. Isn't that gross? I think so. I don't want any chemicals on the clothing I wear, let alone my baby's clothes. Charlie's …
Sherri Haab Jewelry Inspirations: Techniques and
First and foremost- several people are commenting about the book not being in color. All "Vine" reviewers for Amazon received a *copy* of the book (literally a photocopy) that was not yet complete. The final book is in full color and on shiny, thick paper. So rest assured, if you order this book, it will be in FULL COLOR and on glossy paper.     I'm mainly a polymer clay and paper …

Grace Hemp Dress
When I was younger I used to buy clothing the way some people buy food. It would be like weekly shopping! Thankfully I came to my senses once I got married and started working full time. Then of course I realized that I was just a victim of the 'buy buy buy' culture. I'll admit it is very liberating to stop buying. I don't go clothes shopping anymore unless there is something I need. With that in …

Sherri Haab Jewelry Inspirations: Techniques and
I am a jewelry designer so I jumped at the chance to review Ms. Haab's new book. While interesting, it's difficult to categorize the book because the author touches on many things: the workspace, organizing, creating idea notebooks, jewelry making techniques, and finally her main topic: inspiration.    Within the first chapters everything is briefly covered-a mere two pages devoted …

Brilliant Earth Fair Trade Jewelry
20 years married and never wore a wedding ring! And it wasn't for any ethical reason either. Just never wore rings and thought we never would.      But then, we happened upon Brilliant Earth Jewelers (at the San Francisco Green Festival) and for the first time ever I was moved to set up a visit to the jewelers.... and look at.....; sapphires.... emeralds.... diamonds.... …

Echoes in the Attic
Echoes in the Attic is showing the fashion industry that sustainability is more than just living green – it’s absolutely chic! It transforms discarded textiles and leftover materials from post-manufacturing into extraordinary fashion and home accessories. To make its infamous “Tea bag” and pretty, pretty pillows, Echoes uses reclaimed materials like surplus designer …

Dream Mullick
Gotta love fashion that gives back! Dream Mullick jewelry is not only gorgeous, unique and fun to wear, but the company has a commitment to sustainable causes. The jewelry line is all artisan made and inspired by nature, ancient cultures, and Indonesian influences. I love it when companies make it their mission to donate to or help a cause. Dream Mullick works with an organization called …

The Leakey Collection
Exotic, beaded, tribal jewelry is plastering the runways, magazines, and department stores. This may be another temporary fashion trend, but I’ve loved the look for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite jewelry lines, The Leakey Collection, embodies this indigenous and earthy style. The company also has an inspiring, eco-friendly story that makes their …

Sterling Silver Green Cubic Zirconia Briolette
The briolette is a very pretty shade and has many facets but the overall appearance of tSterling Silver Green Cubic Zirconia Briolette "Live" Reversible Disc Pendant is quite "cheap" looking. The chain reminds me of the chain you buy for ceiling fans and the plate is very tiny and somewhat disappears behind the stone. It's more like costume or toy jewelry.
reviewed Sterling Silver Round Green Enamel Pe.... May 08, 2009
Sterling Silver Round Green Enamel Peace Sign
The chain on the Sterling Silver Round Green Enamel Peace Sign 18" Pendant is very delicate and looks like it could break easily. Reminds me of the chains you can buy for ceiling fans. Don't get me wrong, it's cute but not worth what it is being sold for. This is more like costume jewelry than something you would wear on a normal basis.
