Eating organic food takes care of lowering your chemical and pesticide load, but now what about what you put on yourself as well? Are you aware that in your daily routine you may be applying an average of 126 unique chemical ingredients to your skin? Parabens (estrogenic industrial chemicals) have been found in breast tumor tissue - they are nearly in every skin care product. Premarket safety testing is NOT required in the personal care industry. You have to be your own advocate for health when it comes to skin care.
The only face wash I'll use! I have dry skin and this doesn't make it feel tight or robbed of all natural oils. It seems to last forever as well.

Since the ingredients in most sunscreens are clearly linked to cancer and the like, we like our sun protection in the form of sunblock with zinc - great even on babies and I don't get a rash from it like I do with regular sunscreens. We rarely use it, in the summer we don't bask in the sun for more than an hour at a time unless we go to the beach.

Small, local (to me) company with a by-gone era charm. Their anti-bug balm is our must have for summer, keeps my baby totally bite free!

This is not exactly a product, but a website where I find all of the above products. Great for checking anything you use on your kids or yourself for safety.

The Badger Bug Balm is excellent - it truly works and since it only has natural oils etc. you can use it all over, including the face. I love Extra Virgin Coconut Oil too, but I found not all brands are created equally; cheaper versions are very greasy and have no coconut smell. It's best, I found, to buy a good name to get the full benefits. Nice ist!!

Thanks! I just bought more Badger Anti Bug Balm for this summer, can't live without it! I have lately been using the Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil for cooking a lot and I love it because it makes my stainless steel pans almost non-stick! I'm a fan of Kelapo and Tropical Traditions brands.

I was amazed at how effective it is; my family used it when they went camping in the woods and not a single bug bothered them; awesome stuff!! I have used many Badger products including balms and even the massage oils, and they all are natural and work wonderfully; I have sensitive skin and none of their products bother my skin. I used a coconut oil from IHerb, it begins with an "N" and for the life of me I can't remember the whole brand name, but it was suggested by users and it was awesome. Wonderful delicate taste, nice smell, and I used it on my skin and a little in my hair also and it wasn't greasy at all; it sinks right in.
I've used Tom's of Maine's toothpaste, mouthwash, and deoderant. All of them are exceptional products.

I haven't had much success with their deodorant, but I still like it better than conventional ones. We use the mouthwash too, forgot to put it on the list! Thanks for reading!
