Watchmen
Watchmen was fantastic. It is different than any other superhero story, because it isn't the typical rescue/crime-fighting stories. Watchmen is thought provoking, and is a great story. Read it.

God's Equation: Einstein, Relativity, and the Expanding Universe
It gives a good history of Einstein and the General Theory of Relativity. However, I had hoped that it would actually explain the equations a little bit, but it never did.
