SOME MORE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS

Here is another list of some of my favorite albums ever to be recorded and put out.
1
Canibus - Rip The Jacker
Rip the Jacker

One of my favorite artists delivers one of my favorite albums. To be honest this may be his best album. Produced entirely by Stoupe whom I am sure any Hip Hop heads will know. Full of classic after classic including the second Poet Laureate.
2
Prince - The Very Best of Prince
The Very Best of Prince

How could Prince not make any ones list is my question, and if you are a fan I am sure you have this greatest hits album. I highly recommend this album to any and every one out there. This has all the hits we all know and love from "Purple Rain" all the way 2 "Kiss" and such.
3
Ras Kass - Soul On Ice
Soul on Ice

Ras's classic debut album that most Hip Hop fans own or have owned at one point. Features singles like "Miami" and songs like the excellent "Nature of the Threat". One of the best albums to ever be released.
4
Bad Azz - Word on the Streets
Word on Tha Streets

One of the best debut albums ever like the one above. This is a very different album then the last one though. This classic from Bad Azz features tracks like the two singles "We be Puttin it Down" with Snoop Dogg and of course "Ghetto Star". Featuring guest such as Kurupt, Tha Outlawz, The Lady of Rage and more. Highly recommended, I have always loved this dudes flow.
5
Thug Life - Thug Life vol. 1
Thug Life: Vol. 1

The only album from this group of rappers lead by 2pac, other members include Big Syke, Pac's brother Mopreme, Rated R, and Macadoshis. Most people will remember "How Long Will They Mourn Me?" with Nate Dogg and "Pour out a Little Liquor" but the album is full of great song. Sadly this was the only album from the group.
6
2pac - Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.
Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.

Pac's second album featuring great singles like "Keep ya Head up", "I Get Around" with Digital Underground, the excellent "Holla if ya Hear Me", and "Papa'z Song". Still every song on this album is great. This is also the album that features one of my favorite posse cuts ever, "5 Deadly Venomz". LOVE the film [please check that out, and love this song which was inspired by it.

Dead Prez - Lets Get Free
Lets Get Free

This is one of those albums that can throw you off if you are not ready for it. This is a more political album that deals with everything from politics as you could guess and race. Most likely will be remembered for the single "Hip Hop" which went on to be Dave Chappelle's intro music for his hit show on Comedy Central. Still this is an album full of very great and inspired music, not for every one but still a great album. Even if you disagree with the views it is still a very well done album.
8
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang 36 Chambers
Enter Wu-Tang

I would honestly be shocked if you told me that you didn't know who these guys are. Now I know a lot of people don't get the title, it is based on the classic film "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin". This group was heavily influenced by old martial arts movies and it is in their names and songs. This album of course is the classic debut from the East Coast group.
9
D.O.C. - No One Can Do It Better

This is by far one of the best albums ever. The D.O.C. is a Texas born but West Coast alum who is responsible for many a classic you have heard from Ruthless and Death Row records among others. He is a ghost writer for many a rapper and when he released his debut album you could hear the potential. Unfortunately a car accident took his voice away but we still have this classic album full of nothing but hits . Dr Dre's production mixed with D.O.C.'s lyrics and flow made magic.
10
KRS-One - Return of the Boom Bap

KRS-One is one of my favorite rappers of all time and his first solo album is excellent. Singles include "Outta Here" and "Sound of the Police' but the entire album is classic. Now you may be asking where the Boogie Down albums are on these lists, well I am far from listing my favorite albums so rest assured they are coming. I am listing these as I think of them. Any way this is another classic that all should proudly own.

What did you think of this list?
