They're not films that one would typically think of, top of mind, as fantasy films. But I loved both SHREK and ICE AGE. I can't tell you how many times I just howled out loud.

Hard to pick just one--I would say Peter Jackson's LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy right off the bat. But Guillermo Del Toro's PAN'S LABYRINTH is a close contender.

I love the fantasy world that Hayao Miyazaki has created and I also really love the Jim Henson film the Dark Crystal and then there is the Ridley Scott film, Legend, Tim Curry is Fantastic as the Devil in that one and it has a great soundtrack.
