When I saw the previews for Finding Neverland I was very sure it was just a new addition to the many remakes of Peter Pan but I made the mistake of judging it. Of course like a lot of people my attention was directed to the film more because of Johnny Depp but it wasn't enough for me to hit the theatre. A criticism frequently leveled against this film is that it isn't very accurate biographically. In my opinion, this totally misses the point. First, the film was never postured as "The Life Story of J.M. Barrie."
