If you’re looking for offbeat horror, short fiction, and a glorious mix of darkness and fun, Dark Moon Digest’s Dark Eclipse #16 is probably a good place to start. From Edgar Allan Poe’s classic, The Black Cat, to Sean M. Davis’ column on the wonders, history and strangeness of night-colored felines, from  the witch-trial horrors of Tori Ridgewood’s short story, Thy Will be Done, to the haunting existentialism of K. Trap Jones’ Icy Hell Awaits, and from the disturbingly modern discoveries in Julie Jansen’s Skinny to American history revisited in Jay Wilburn’s Revere, the stories, columns, poems and more have something for everyone—well, something for everyone with a taste for horror. Have you ever met a were-turkey?
With a pleasing mix of fiction and non-fiction, seventeen great authors, ancient and modern, and with everything nicely packaged into a well-structured, nicely formatted ebook, this is a collection well worth adding to your reader and enjoying through the long dark nights of winter.

Disclosure: I won an ecopy of this collection. Lucky me.
