Harry Potter is a brilliant series, which has inspired me in so many ways. The characters are so realistic and well-crafted. This series has very few moments that are uneventful, every chapter more eventful than the next, and it's one of those stories you want to read over and over again. The entire world is so well-crafted not a detail is left out, so it's easy for anyone to imagine this world as something more realistic than a simple story.
I recommend the Harry Potter series to everyone, it's a fantastical story.

I had observed the Harry Potter (HP) craze for some time, with no real interest in finding out what the fuss was all about. Witches and wizards had never appealed to me. I was a bit skeptical years ago when friends began insisting I read the Harry Potter books, mostly because I knew they were written for teenagers and I couldn't imagine being terribly interested. I first got into the Harry Potter books when I was in college, and would read them aloud to my roomie so we could both enjoy them at the same time. They were great fun, sweet and funny and full of nostalgia for me, back then. First, a necessary disclosure: I am a Harry Potter fan. That being said, I will tell you why I think all people can (and should) embrace the J.K. Rowling's seven-part series. Many years ago when the first Harry Potter Book just came out, before it got big, a friend told me to read it. I wasn't a big fan of reading let alone a 400 page book. But one day i was bored so i decided to read the first couple of pages and i was instantly captured in the world of wizardry.
