My world in a nutshell:  Born in the humble beach town of Ventura, CA I went to UCLA with ambitions to pursue journalism and film.  I studied literature and picked up Italian on the side, which led to a life-changing 10-month study abroad experience in Trento and Padua, Italy.  Graduating in Dec '07, I took my journalims experience writing for The Hollywood Reporter to work as a film publicist, promoting indie films and the Los Angeles Film Festival.  Needing a more creative career, I went back to my summer camp counseling roots and now teach at a private elementary school.

In my free time I love to write, and will eventually make a career of it.  I also love living in one of the greatest cities on Earth: LA.  Talk to me about cool stuff to do, new recipes to try out, great films to watch and music to groove to.
