I am a recent law school grad with an interest in Southeast Asia legal issues. Unfortunately for my checkbook, ever since high school I have been addicted to good books. I have eclectic tastes, although I read almost exclusively nonfiction. My favorite subjects are conservation biology and ancient roman history. In my reviews, I try to be honest but enthusiastic. I do have a bias in favor of books and against movies because, generally at least, you can still learn something from a mediocre book. In the end, that is the most important criterion for my reviews - whether or not my time and money were well spent on that particular product. I hope you enjoy my commentary!
