Mario Kart
When it comes down to the constant releases of one sequel after the other to a successful franchise, the only way one should go is up, in theory at least. As some of us know, this isn't always the case, since some sequels fail to live up to the standard set by their predecessor. Mario Kart, which was originally released in 1992 for the Super Nintendo is one of those rare exceptions. The series …

Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft
I wasn't too fond of the original Tomb Raider, but I was still heavily interested in this sequel when it was first released. This was a huge improvement as it not only expanded on the world, but it focused a little more on the action and it had a better story. Tomb Raider II is by far my favorite of the original series.

Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid was one of those rare games to completely blow my mind. The opening act unfolds just like a movie and I remember how awesome I thought that was. The story is very good and the game features some of the coolest boss battles in gaming, such as the sniper battle with Sniper Wolf. This is another game I wish I could play again for the first time.

New Super Mario Bros.
Hey, you know what we haven't seen in a very long time? That old, classic Super Mario Bros. 2D gameplay. Well, Nintendo has brought Mario back to his old-school roots, and it's as good as ever.     Yes, New Super Mario Bros. is a throwback to the old, OLD days. There's no FLUDD pack for this game, no interstellar travel, and there's not even a third dimension for Mario to traipse …

New Super Mario Bros.
It really does have its fun moments, and the graphics are very good. But when compared to early entries in the series, such as SM1 and SM3, it feels so inferior. This game is just way too easy and you can run through it in about half a day.

New Super Mario Bros.
While going on a walk with Princess Peach, Mario notices the castle on fire. He dashes off without a second thought, and as a result, the Princess is immediately snatched. Mario leaves in hot pursuit to save her. -summary      Super Mario Bros. has been a household name for over two decades. Besides the fact that the games can be incredibly fun, they built a …

Batman: Arkham Asylum
In general, superhero video games are bad adaptations of the comics on which they are based. Usually, at best they are just an average game (the only exception to this being when a superhero game has a great co-player mode, such as JUSTICE LEAGUE HEROES from a few years ago). That changed with the release of BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM. I didn't have an opportunity to play the game until earlier this …

Nintendo Wii
First of all, I'd like to say that before I review why I'm not fond of the Wii, keep in mind that this is entirely subjective, and if you personally enjoy it, then more power to you.   I remember the Wii coming out back in November of 2006 and like the PS3, I thought to myself “Like I'm gonna buy that thing, that thing is a joke.” However, unlike the PS3, to …

I honestly don't think I can live without them now. I buy a bunch of new ones almost every month, and I try to squeeze in a few game reviews during that time. Currently, the PS3 is my fave. The 360 is ok, but I can't stand the Wii. And Ebert can go to hell with his Video Games isn't art thing.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
This is another game that has been reviewed over and over again. There isn't much more I can say that hasn't already been said. This game is as awesome as everybody says. A definite must play. It is another one of those games where you are really able to suspend your disbelief. When you play this game, you don't just feel like Batman, you ARE Batman!      As if the …

Batman: Arkham Asylum
I'm pretty late on this one. Arkham Asylum is one of the rare games that is universally praised by everyone, and for damn good reason. I stayed away from it cuz, well, superheroes are kinda lame, but finally Doomrider talked me into playing it, and I'm glad he did. It's damn sweet, and even if you think superheroes are completely lame and for dorks, you should still play it.   …

Batman: Arkham Asylum
As I sit down to write this review I am in a little bit of shock. I don’t think that anyone wanted this game to be good more than me, though not even I could have imagined that it would be such as masterpiece. As someone who plays just about everything that comes out, its hard to find a game that essentially does it all but Batman: Arkham Asylum pulls it off beautifully. After finishing Batman: …

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
There has been much anticipation surrounding the latest chapter in the MGS saga and I am happy to report that this one didn’t disappoint. Up until now games like Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare were the gold standard as far as the PS3 console was concerned, they were. After playing through MGS 4, I have to say that this is not only the greatest PS3 title to …

Call of Duty: Black Ops
The Call Of Duty franchise has had one heck of a year. It has seen the studio that originally developed it become involved in battle with its publisher that saw the founders of that company leave to start a new development house which left it looking like a shell of its former self. As most of you know, Call Of Duty isn’t made by just one developer like most games. Activision, perhaps …

cover of game box
So first off I have to admit that probably more than any other game coming out this year, I was truly excited about Prototype. I just thought the concept was fresh and that if they could pull off all the stuff they were promising it would be an awesome, awesome experience. With that said though, anyone who knows me knows that with games I really like when it comes time to review them I am really hard …

Metal Gear Solid
This here is what started it all for me. After playing this game i couldn't wait for the next installment. I've since then beat all the Metal Gear Solid titles. Each one very enjoyable in its own right. You should definitely play this game at least once if your a gamer or your someone looking to get into a fantastic story driven series.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Modern Warfare 2 is simply fun and interesting. The game prides itself on having numerous and expansive multiplayer options. Since none of the options are listed up here I shall detail a few here. New Super Mario Bros
New Super Mario Bros Wii is an experience that every fan of the classic 2D Mario games may want to purchase and play. It features the same sort of game style that we have come to expect from all of those classic Mario games and combines most of their mechanics into one game. It uses mechanics that were seen in Super Mario World 2 with the ability to ride Yoshi, some of the music choices from those …
