I review books, do organic gardening (vegetables, fruit trees, etc.), mentor a young lady, and work with inmates at the local jail and state prison units. I live in a passive solar house (with an active solar water heater), drive a fuel efficient car, would love to have a plug-in electric hybrid car, and generally enjoy natural and animals. I have three cats (one is a kitten that was dumped on my farm. He's such a darling, I can't imagine why anyone would dump him). I also have a horse who's mainly a pasture ornament at the moment. I recently started learning to crochet, and I'm loving it.
