I love Lebanese food because it uses traditional Arabic foods as its base but varies them with its own Mediterranean alterations. Also, it is generally agreed that Lebanese food is very healthy (in appropriate proportions, of course).    My favorite has always been their hummus, which can be served with olive oil, spices, pine nuts, and even grilled meats.
