Tastes Pretty Good, Especially When It's Hot Outside

Diet Coke has always been one of my favorite diet drinks. I have to admit that the new Diet Coke with Splenda tastes better in my opinion, but this one will suffice. It is especially good on a hot, humid day in southwest Louisiana, where I'm from. A really cold shot of Diet Coke goes down a lot easier than its classic counterpart.

Pick up a bottle today and enjoy it for what it is. It's a pretty good diet drink that doesn't make you feel as guilty as when you drink down the good ol' original.

It's important to remember that with any kind of pop (or soda, whatever you call it), you're not getting a damn thing out of it except a nice, sugary taste with a little bit of fizz. There's nothing worthwhile in terms of health to get out of any kind of soft drinks.     Two things: First, I mostly phased pop out of my diet a couple of years ago because I was concerned about my health and drinking way too much of it. Second, even though the minor-league baseball field in my hometown …

Coca-Cola is a carbonated soft drink sold in the stores, restaurants, and vending machines of more than 200 countries. It is produced by The Coca-Cola Company of Atlanta, Georgia, and is often referred to simply as Coke (a registered trademark of The Coca-Cola Company in the United States since March 27, 1944). Originally intended as a patent medicine when it was invented in the late 19th century by John Pemberton, Coca-Cola was bought out by businessman Asa Griggs Candler, whose marketing tactics led Coke to its dominance of the world soft-drink market throughout the 20th century.

The company produces concentrate, which is then sold to licensed Coca-Cola bottlers throughout the world. The bottlers, who hold territorially exclusive contracts with the company, produce finished product in cans and bottles from the concentrate in combination with filtered water and sweeteners. The bottlers then sell, distribute and merchandise Coca-Cola to retail stores and vending machines. Such bottlers include Coca-Cola Enterprises, which is the largest single Coca-Cola bottler in North America and western Europe. The Coca-Cola Company also sells concentrate for soda fountains to major restaurants and food service distributors.

The Coca-Cola Company has, on occasion, introduced other cola drinks under the Coke brand name. The most common of these is Diet Coke, with others including Caffeine-Free Coca-Cola, Diet Coke Caffeine-Free, Coca-Cola Cherry, Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Vanilla, and ...
