Damn that's too expensive for my taste. I have a glass of brandy before bed every night and I know I'd run out of this too fast! :D But yeah, I like happy places too, especially when it's cold out.

I tend to only drink it with someone who really likes whiskey; more happy places to be shared!
OMG I would hope you have a "smooth and amazing 'buzz'" and be in your happy place at this price!!!! LOL You have expensive taste when it comes to a good buzz my dear!!!!! (I like that!)..LOL

The $ 150-190 a bottle is IF you buy it from an Asian market, Costco or BevMo...I've seen it sell for $ 200-250 for a gift box or at a bar. I tend to drink this at home with my bottle with someone who likes whiskey unless....I am at a bar. (glug glug) *hic* Talking about it made me get a buzz...

LOL -- I hope it doesn't take much to get a buzz--wow what an expensive high and wouldn't it suck if you drank too much and got sick?!? Let me ask you; what is it that makes a good whiskey so much more expensive than cheaper ones? I like to drink every once in a while, but I'm a cheap drinker LOL and really don't know and I'm curious.

with an expensive buzz you feel really good after and the next day even with a hangover. With a cheap buzz, you hate yourself for staying home with a hangover. LMAO! But hey, company is what counts...so a $ 1.99 wine is fine too.

I can understand that...it makes sense - I like Jack and Coke or Long Island Iced Teas (cheap, but effective) when I'm at a club, but back in my old partying days I loved Boones Farm, the cheap wine - I'd have a fifth of Strawberry Hill in one hand and a fifth of Tickle Pink in the other; would drink both fifths, have a great buzz, and still feel OK the next morning. Tequila damned near killed me when I was in competition with a few of my friends with shots and the salt and lemon; I drank 17 shots within 45 minutes as we passed the bottle around the table (I only know about the timing and amount from my sober friends LOL) and I was literally sick for a solid week; I couldn't even look at rubbing alcohol after that without having nightmares. I don't believe I've ever had an "expensive" buzz LOL and you're right about the company you're with-- it does count!
