First Rate, World Class Comedy Club Right Under Our Noses

I know it's technically not in Manhattan Beach, but it's close enough as it provides the highest level of entertaiment in the Southbay.  The Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach is one of the best comedy clubs in the WORLD, no joke.  All the comedians that perfrom at the world famous Comedy Store and Laugh Factory in Hollywood/Los Angeles also perform at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach.  It's on the LA comedy "circuit" as they say in the biz, and the LA comedy circuit is the premier showcase of comedy talent.  Jay Leno performs there every Sunday.  You have to get tickets a week in advance.  I've personally seen Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, Gary Schandling, DL Hughley, Kevin Nealon, Dana Carvey, Dom Irrera, Sara Silverman and Chelsea Handler, not to mention dozens of other comedians who are not household names but are arguably funnier because their material is more "blue" (provocative, etc.).  I highly recommend experiencing this "BEST KEPT SECRET" in Manhattan Beach.  I promise you it will not disappont.  You will be laughing the whole time.
