I confess - I haven't read it.
While I can understand a raw food diet in the abundant summer months, what do you eat in the winter? Raw sqaush?

I don't know anyone who eats an entirely raw diet year round. I think it's unrealistic! Even in warmer climates like California, where the growing seasons are extended, the tomatoes and corn are still only available in the warmest, ripest months! Have you ever tried a winter tomato? They're mealy, tough, and totally unappetizing.

Good point! But these days one can buy fruits and veggies even off season, although organic and local are hard to come by and will have a higher price tag. I'm sure the diet works well for people in climates where they can grow things year round. Do you know of anyone who tried it? If so, were they successful? How about places where organic fruits and veggies can be bought year round?
