Decent pizza for a chain. Breadsticks = crack.

Okay, fine.  I admit it.  I like Pizza Hut.  You would think, with the eight billion pizza places in New York, I would find this ginormous chain restaurant to be repulsive.  But no, when a pizza craving hits, I find myself craving the stuff more than I crave your most authentic Italian-run mom-and-pop joint.  The only two reasons I can figure are a) I've been brainwashed, or b) They put addictive substances in the pizza.  Maybe crack.  Tasty, tasty crack.

No, but it's really not bad.  I like their crust.  It's soft and chewy, thick, with just a hint of sweetness.  The cheese and the toppings are adequate, and the sauce makes an unobtrusive base to hold it all together.  I like that they do little personal pizzas for those occasional Saturday nights when I have no plans and I don't feel like cooking and wow is my life sad sometimes.  I'm going to be a lonely old cat lady!  A lonely old cat lady who talks to herself and watches Lifetime movies and gives her cats names like "Pinky BooBooFace" and "Buttons McMittenhead"-

:clears throat: Whoops, that sentence got away from me there.  But yes.  Personal pizzas are win.

As for their other dishes, it's been a while since I've tried their buffet with salad and mac 'n' cheese, but I don't remember it being especially good or bad, so I guess it was serviceable.

So I probably would've given the place three stars, but the breadsticks are so great that they bumped it up a notch.  Man, I love those breadsticks.  Warm and chewy, topped with a thick, lickable coating of garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.  If there is crack in Pizza Hut's food, it's in the breadsticks.  They're even better refrigerated.  You take out the cold breadsticks and dip them in the marinara sauce...yum.  It's like the refrigeration sharpens the flavors.

I can't believe I just waxed rhapsodic about Pizza Hut breadsticks for an entire paragraph.  I'm ending this review now.

My husband worked at a Pizza Hut and he still loves it. I always thinks that says good things about a place, when ex-employees will still eat there!

Pizza Hut is good eatin'. The deep-dish crust alone is worth paying for, without anything on it but the sauce is also excellent. Haven't really tried much there in the way of pastas or sandwiches, but yeah, I'm with you...the breadsticks are friggin' ADDICTIVE.

I've loved Pizza Hut since I was a kid. Aside from the large selection of good pizzas to chow on, their recent incorporation with Wing Street has just made the place much better. They now have some of the best buffalo wings you can get at a chain restaurant (and I've eaten A LOT of them since the late 90's). Aside from the pizza and wings, their cinnamon sticks and chocolate dunkers are fun desserts.

Great quality pizza products and varieties but doesn't keep it's specialty items on long enough and doesn't bring them back the way they should.

Their pizza isn't even good, and they serve nothing healthy.

The Hut has the goods, too bad they don't keep them around more often.
Ahhh, Pizza Hut.  It may not be the greatest pizza in the world, but it's tied close to me as a symbol of growing up and always seeing Pizza Hut and having it even be my first job.      Pizza Hut does corner the major Pizza francizes in one major way, it is a sit down resurant.  Dominoes, Little Ceasers, Papa Johns, none of them have sit down dining and none of them have buffet's either.  While there are a few Pizza Huts out there that don't have buffets …

Gourmet pizza restaurant with a buffet and salad bar. Has some great pizza varieties that you need to experience while you can.
