About Honeybunny
My mothers death began my quest to define for myself, what does it mean to be a woman. As it turns out, being a woman is nothing like what I suspected at the age of 14... it's way more fun!
I spent years traveling with just a backpack and my thumb (yep, I hitched all over this country).  After falling in love with a man who'd been my dear friend for a decade, I began to slow down some.  In a fit of despair (there was no way in hell I was going to waste my time with some lame-@$$ job that only paid the bills) I determined that I would go to college after all.
I am currently a student midwife.  In this all girl school I have learned more about being a woman than in all the years of my life.  We women are as varied and unique as the flowers of the earth.  Some of us have protective thorns and some of us travel with the wind.
As it turns out, women and men ARE different (which I strongly denied for years), and yet very very similar.  It is a balance that can be found between the masculine and the feminine that allows us to embrace both aspects of ourselves.  As a woman, I still love to spit, belch, fart, and talk about sex.  I try to dress relatively modest, but do rebel against all the layers required for winter living.
Right about now I'm getting tired of writing about myself.  So, I'm going to move on.
