Top Ten Apps on my Motorola Droid!

Being a newbie to the Droid world, I've found some really good apps and then some pretty bad apps.  If you are a Droid user of any kind and use the Android App Store, here are my picks that every Droid phone should have installed!  This list does not include apps that are pre-installed on the Droid like Gmail and Facebook, etc..
Pandora icon
Pandora Internet Radio is simply awesome to have on your phone. With only 16GB's of memory on the current Droid phone, you don't necessarily want to be filling all of it up with music. Pandora is the easy answer for this. Once you type in an artist, it will play songs from that genre and most of the picks are great! I prefer the Irish Rock channel. I type in Flogging Molly and I'm set!
Bank of America
This is a great app for doing your banking on the fly. If you're at a restaurant and need to check your balance or if you need to transfer funds, you can do it with a touch of a button.
OpenTable (Droid App)
I make a lot of restaurant reservations. Let's say I'm in the city and my fiance wants to go to a nice dinner. I can make the reservation right from my phone and meat her at the restaurant all with the touch of a button. This is a must have for foodies!
twidroid (twidroid) on Twitter
Twidroid is a great Twitter app and although it has a paid version, the free version works just fine. It's easy to check tweets and make them and your phone lets you know whenever there are new ones. This is a great app for all of my fellow Tweeps out there!
eBuddy (Droid App)
Let's face it, if you text a lot it can get expensive. eBuddy makes IM's and Texts virtually free. Texting and IMing is completely free when using eBuddy and having this along with Gmail talk, my texts have gone down a lot. This is another must have.
SportsTap (Droid App)
I'll admit it, I really wish that the Droid would hurry up and release ESPN MVP or SportsCenter like they did for the iPhone and other Verizon Wireless phones, but for now, I'm really pleased with SportsTap. The articles are great and it's wonderful for a big sports fan like me to get all my news on the fly.
Fandango (Droid App)
Like restaurants, I go to a lot of movies and having the Fandango mobile app is a must have for me.
Key Ring
Say goodbye to all those ridiculous yet useful discount cards you have in your wallet, giving you a big pain in the butt. With Keyring, you just scan or type in your cards barcode and it's magically stored in your phone. All you have to do when they ask you if you have a Borders Rewards card is whip out your phone!
Amazon.com (Droid App)
Having Amazon.com on your phone is just genius! Whenever I go to a store and see something I like I always say to myself, "They'll have it cheaper on Amazon." Now all I have to do is whip out my Droid and order away and say 'no thanks' to $40 dollar Blu-rays at Borders right in the store!
Adobe Photoshop Mobile
Even with a 5.0 Megapixel camera, the Droid doesn't take the best photos in the world, but now with Photoshop mobile on the Droid, you can clean them up in no time.

Excellent suggestions. I love that you gave examples of how they work for you in life. So I could make an easy choice for myself. Thank you. Very helpful.

Good list and makes me want an Android based phone ASAP! I particularly want that Photoshop Mobile app, but no go on the WinMo.

Dang, Julian, you just got the Droid and you've got a list up already.  You work fast! :P  I use the first three, and I actually wrote a review about #10 for iPhone the other week.  Good stuff! :)

My fiance thinks I'm cheating on her with my Droid ;)

Are you as bad as me? My iPhone gets its own fluffy pillow with a red satin sheet next to mine. It goes to sleep with me every night and wakes up with me every morning. It's good to be my iPhone! ;)

From the sound of things, I think I am as bad as you! While I don't sleep with my Droid, I try and use it for anything and everything! It seems like your iPhone is living the life of the rich and famous though ;)

I know!  It even gets to sashay around town in one of these ;)
